Temporary speed cameras have been placed randomly around the Lenton area in Nottingham without any warning signs or road markings.

If caught, students will face three penalty points or a £60 fine. PC Crow from Canning Circus Police Station has stated that police enforcers “shall now check thoroughly to ensure that signs are placed by the cameras.” She added that “if somebody spots an unmarked mobile camera they should put it in writing and address a complaint to Mrs Plant at the central ticket office.”

To find out where the cameras are being set up you can visit the Nottingham City Council website.

Cameras are currently placed along Ilkeston Road, Lenton Boulevard, Radford Boulevard, Derby Road and various spots on the A60.
