Nottingham University’s School of English Studies opened to the public on Tuesday, but only for an hour.

The department hosted a session of talks and demonstrations focusing on the wide array of materials extant within the department, such as the works of DH Lawrence and the legacy of the Vikings.

The department also launched a new book, the New Cambridge Grammar Of English, which contains contributions from department members.
