Duncan Bradshaw, Broadgate Park President, has been ordered by the Warden of the hall not to return to the hall. He was also issued with a £50 suspended fine.

While acted as a Week One Rep, he is accused of a misusing a loud hailer, having been told not to do so.

Bradshaw said that he is concerned that wardens have the power to “force a hall president to resign”, but made clear he had no intention to do so. Bradshaw is appealing the ban and it has been passed onto the University’s Senate Disciplinary Committee.

The Warden of Broadgate Park was not willing to comment.

A decision is not expected until the new year.
