This Saturday the 27th October sees the Firefly train steam back into Nottingham for its eight annual Halloween party, headed up by all round top man John Acquaviva. There’s also some hot and heady support from the very lovely Dolls at Play.

Returning to the Garvey after packing out the house last Spring, and fresh from a summer world tour, the Canadian DJ is one of the true pioneers of dance music, boasting a 17 year career behind the decks and will be sure to have carefully selected some especially huge beats from his massive collection, guaranteed to keep all us students stomping. Meanwhile, London-based female duo Dolls at Play will almost certainly add a heady twist of their very own booty shakin electro party sound to the mix, ripping up the dance floor for all you jumping types. And of course, lest we forget, tried and trusted Firefly residents Thrash Jelly, James Alexander and Ripp Off will all be there to sugar the pill, sending a heady cocktail of electro-beats rushing down our gullets.

Those wanting more info can check out www.ilovefirefly.net whilst all the rest of us know that the only truly right and blessed way to spend our Saturday will be to get it on down to Nottingham’s finest electronic music night for a good and proper stomp.
