In 2007 The Twilight Sad produced ‘Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters,’ one of the best albums of the year, but it slipped under most people’s radar. Now they are back with ‘Forget the Night Ahead.’ The lead singer’s thick Scottish accent is used in beautiful harmony with a backdrop of hazy noise and distortion which suddenly sucks you into a world where night and day are opposites. The music acts as a transportation device between you and the surreal and sublime.

The Twilight Sad will be playing at the Bodega on the 24th October. To hear more go to their myspace.
