Teenage actress, Georgia Groome (London to Brighton; Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging) has been left traumatised after two men broke onto the set of her latest film, The True Meaning of Love. The incident happened just after 8am on Friday 6th November at a pub in Nottingham where the film was being shot. The two men made off with the camera which contains sensitive film footage.
Jack Curtis, the film’s producer, has offered up to a £1000 reward for any information on the whereabouts of the camera. “We just want the tapes back… The film is Georgia’s most revealing role to date and we fear for her privacy as she is still very young. Please do the right thing.”
Actor Andre Mahjouri, who was on set at the time, managed to photograph the intruders on his mobile phone. “They were asked to leave several times and refused, so I took a photo in case anything kicked off.”
The film, about two young lovers who choose a life together instead of university, to the dismay of their parents, was due to be released late next year.
