It is also the main attraction during the Christmas Lights switch on because of the beautiful sights, and, if you turn around, you can get the feeling of being transported to a different time period with the modernist looking fountain opposite the council house. Don’t forget to take a selfie with the Left Lion statue, a must-do in Nottingham!

Trent Building, also known as the aesthetic landmark of Uni Park campus, is home to the School of English and Languages department. There are nooks and crannies to explore here, and if the view of the building overlooking Highfields Lake and Gardens are not enough, the courtyard also makes for a beautiful setting. #NoFilterNeeded is the most relevant hashtag for any selfie taken here.

Last but not least, a selfie location which is a must for every University of Nottingham student. Inspired by the well-known Glastonbury sign, what better selfie to take than one that is a textual reference to elucidate your location. This sign cannot be missed, and is perfect to take group photos in front of, to show how picturesque our campus really is; from taking pictures on a lake to standing in front of huge letters spelling out Nottingham.

Take a selfie and feel like you are standing by the Hollywood sign, taking pride in your glamorous student life at UoN instead. As some may say: ‘If you don’t have a photo with the Nottingham sign on campus, were you even a student there?’
