About

Impact is the official student magazine of the University of Nottingham it is published by Nottingham University Students’ Union and has been in operation since 1939. Run entirely by volunteers, we publish a free 64-page full colour magazine every month of the academic year, as well as this website.

Editorial team

In addition to our contributors, Impact has around thirty editors. Many are jointly in charge of a section such as Sports, Arts or Music, but Impact also has a team of people who organise photos, design our pages, publicise the magazine and generally make sure everything works smoothly. Editors are elected every year; if you think you’ve got what it takes to be an editor at Impact, get involved now!

Office location

Our office is a little tricky to find! In the old part of the Portland Building, head to the western end on the top floor. Go up the stairs on the right at the end of the corridor and then through the door opposite the chaplains. Head left and down the corridor to our office. Sound complicated? Don’t worry, there are also a few signs to guide you there.
