About

Impact is The University of Nottingham’s official student magazine. We are published by the University of Nottingham Students’ Union and have been in operation since 1939. Run entirely by volunteers, we publish a free 64-page full colour magazine every month of the academic year, as well as this website.

Office location
Our office is located inside the Portland Building on the University Park campus.
From the main entrance of Portland, follow the stairs upwards to the first level and then turn right. Our office is just across from the East Concourse Lounge and next to the hairdressers. We are signposted from the main entrance.
Editorial team
In addition to our contributors, Impact has around thirty editors. Many are jointly in charge of a section such as Sports, Arts or Music, but Impact also has a team of people who organise photos, design our pages, publicise the magazine and generally make sure everything works smoothly. Editors are elected every year; if you think you’ve got what it takes to be an editor at Impact, get involved now!
